"Nothing I do is my fault. My family is dysfunctional and my parents won't empower me! Consequently, I'm not self actualized! My behavior is addictive functioning in a disease process of toxic codependency! I need holistic healing and wellness before I accept any responsibility for my actions!"
Follow the conversation between Calvin and Hobbes if you agree.
I'm in the same continent as Fra.nz Fer.din.and!!!
My dancing boyz will be performing in my beloved Japan starting tomorrow, with the tickets priced at rokuman happyaku en (Yes, now I'll know how to communicate with Japanese hotness).
And on February 12, they'll be hopping from an Osaka concert to one in freakin' Kowloon, HK, which is like an hour away from here! That is, if I had the plane and the money to go with it. *cries*
That's not all: on Valentine's Day, which I'm supposed to celebrate with the very witty Alex Kap.ra.nos (haha), Franz Fer.din.and will be in Singapore! And after four days, they'll be hitting Thailand!
And just before the month of hearts ends, they'll be coming to THE PHILIPPINES!
Yeah riiiiighhhhht.
I WISH. They'll come here, where I'll be waiting with front row seats to their cuh-ray-zee-lee best show, after which we'll all hang out together because we're such good friends.
And Alex will say, "I like that."
I'd like that, *sigh* but for now, I'll content myself with dancing to Di.e.go Ma.pa and the rest of P.E.D.I.CAB, which is not at all a terrible fate. After all, with the crazy guys of Pedicab, I have experienced what Alex called feeling "possessed, as if the shadowy side of your soul takes over." He was referring to performing ("the best performances") of course, but I think that can easily be applied to whoever's watching the performance as well.
"If you don't feel like that, then you're pretending."
Well I can assure you, my dear, I'm definitely NOT pretending.
_fiercely free Ma.rg.are.t At.wood (I love love love her!) said it well. But is that really how I feel? If it is, then wouldn't it be wrong?
Wouldn't it? Flying and flying because I hear the gun being loaded? When I know that the shot is coming, and everything will shatter soon enough?
It's like sticking a bullseye on my forehead and standing in front of the gunman. Heck, it's like I even loaded the gun myself.
Ma.rg.are.t would be so disappointed with me. Yes, I know that "It's only in dreams" I can do this, yet I fly. Fly just like that damn balloon, floating like it's free. When in reality, it's only tied to a stupid chair...and straining to fly away the way it's supposed to, while being forced to bob against the mighty winds.
I might be guilty of mixing metaphors, but that's the least of my problems right now. The bullet's coming soon, and I'm not so sure that I don't want it to hit me.

It's always the moment just before the gunshot.
